Job Description

In this role, you’ll combine strategic leadership with hands-on design, driving innovation in AI-powered interfaces and intelligent system interactions.

What you will do

Lead & Inspire

  • Coach and grow a high-performing UI/UX team.

  • Build a culture of collaboration, learning, and experimentation.

  • Prepare the team for AI and intelligent system workflows.

Design Strategy & Innovation

  • Own and evolve the shared design system for consistency and scalability.

  • Define UI/UX standards and compliance across products and markets.

  • Lead the design of AI-enabled features: chat, voice, adaptive & generative UIs.

Hands-on & Discovery

  • Contribute directly to design when needed.

  • Run discovery workshops, design sprints, and problem-framing sessions with PMs and Engineers.

  • Ensure feasibility and alignment with technical and product teams.

Resource & Stakeholder Management

  • Prioritize design resources across squads and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with PMs and Engineering Leaders to align strategy with roadmaps.

  • Facilitate design reviews and cross-team design forums.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor UX quality and consistency across products.

  • Promote innovative tools and methods, including AI-assisted delivery and research.


Who you are

  • You are a strategic, hands-on UI/UX leader, fluent in French and English (dutch is a plus), with a proven track record in B2B SaaS environments. You have strong experience leading and developing teams, and people management remains a core part of your role.

  • You thrive on building and coaching high-performing teams, while driving their evolution towards new technologies and ways of working, especially in the context of AI and intelligent systems.

  • You have solid experience in design systems, accessibility, UX research, and emerging interaction technologies, including AI-driven workflows. You bring practical experience or personal experimentation with AI in UI/UX and can clearly articulate its impact on product strategy and user experience.

  • You are comfortable mentoring designers at different levels and contributing hands-on when needed. You enjoy tackling complex challenges, fostering collaboration across teams, and delivering scalable, innovative solutions. Occasional travel is expected.
